No Handling Fees for Global Cash Withdrawal
DBS Treasures cardholders enjoy waiver on handling fees for cash withdrawals at all China UnionPay (CUP) ATM machines around the world! Currently, the CUP ATM machine network has a wide coverage of more than 70 countries around the world. Almost all ATM machines in Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore and United Kingdom accept CUP card for cash withdrawals; 90% of ATM machines in U.S.A and Thailand accept Union Pay card; 50% of ATM machines in France and Germany accept Union Pay card; China UnionPay card is also widely accepted in Japan and Korea.
More Affordable Overseas Spending
DBS Treasures cardholders will be able to enjoy savings of 1% - 2% on currency exchange handling fees when using the CUP POS machines in 50 countries. Purchases in domestic currencies will be deducted in RMB to avoid losses from multiple currency exchanges.
More convenience on tax rebate
With more than 25,000 shops around the world that has a “TAX FREE SHOPPING” sign, your purchases can be claim for a tax refund. To perform a tax refund, just fill in your DBS Treasures card numbers on the credit card number column of the Global Refund Form and the amount will be credited to your DBS Treasures card account. Through China’s Union Pay network, amount of tax refund will be automatically converted from the domestic currency to RMB, with no incurrence of the 1%－2% currency exchange handling fee. This eliminates currency exchange hassles and helps reduce the cost of tax refund. (Note: Currently, this facility is only applicable to merchants offering tax refunds in European countries, Singapore and Korea).
