The programme is open to undergraduates studying in Year 2 or 3 from all disciplines as we put strong emphasis on interns' overall quality and potential. Therefore, it is not necessary to major in business or finance for our Internship Programme. However, certain career tracks may require specific or technical skills and knowledge in addition to a business or finance major.
We seek candidates who have outstanding qualities such as leadership potential, impeccable character, outstanding communication skills and the ability to work with diverse groups of people. Outstanding undergraduates studying in Year 2 or 3 with a demonstrated track record of achievements in academic and non-academic pursuits from reputable local and overseas universities are welcome.
If you are selected to join the Internship Programme, DBS will apply for an employment pass for you.
Each intern will be assigned to a department at the start of the programme based on his/her strengths, interests and DBS' needs. The objective of the programme is to provide interns with a valuable opportunity to understand and gain exposure in our business.
You will be provided with classroom training, projects, on-the-job training, networking opportunities, as well as guidance from your supervisor.
