The programme is open to undergraduates in their penultimate year of study from all disciplines as we put strong emphasis on interns' overall quality and potential. Therefore, it is not necessary to major in Business or Finance in order to qualify for our Management Internship Programme.
At DBS, we hire candidates based on merit and fit. We look to hire people who can contribute to the bank, and who possess the right skills needed for the role. They have strong communication skills, and are adaptable, creative, decisive and dedicated. They are also team players. These are some of the critical skills we look out for in graduates who apply to join our talent development programmes such as the DBS Management Associate Programme.
Today, Asia is growing at an unprecedented pace and broad trends involving the global economy, technology and the banking industry are changing the landscape that DBS is operating in. Against such a backdrop, DBS is focused on being innovative, and we are looking out for people who have an innovative mindset. Being innovative isn’t just about being tech-savvy or great with social media. People who possess this skill must be able to embrace change, look for ways to improve their work, find smarter answers, and deliver simpler solutions for our customers. They must be able to make an impact.
You will be provided with on-the-job training, projects, networking opportunities, as well as guidance from your supervisor.
