Domenic oversees the Consumer Banking & Wealth Management business of DBS regionally, with over 6 million customers, 250 branches, and advanced digital banking capabilities. Prior to his current role, Domenic was the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Regional Consumer Banking & Wealth Management (CBG).
Domenic joined DBS in March 2010, and has over 25 years’ experience in consumer banking and wealth management, covering a wide range of functions from front line sales and branch management to senior roles in business, credit risk management and finance.
Prior to joining DBS, he spent over 16 years at Citigroup in a variety of senior management roles across Asia. His last role at Citi was as its Chief Operating Officer for South East Asia Pacific, Australia and New Zealand, in which he helped to drive execution of Citi’s strategy across 10 countries, launched Citi’s Consumer Banking business in Vietnam and helped to manage the banking operations during the 2008 / 09 financial crisis.
Domenic is a member of DBS Group Management Committee, and sits on the boards of AXS (Singapore), DBS Compass Limited (Hong Kong) and NETS (Singapore).
Domenic is married with two children, and holds an undergraduate degree from Macquarie University, Sydney and an MBA from University of Technology, Sydney.
A critical element of Corporate Governance at DBS is an active board and management committee structure that undertakes a careful review of decision making within the Group at various levels.
