Dr. Bart J. Broadman was appointed to the Board of Directors of DBS Group Holdings Ltd and DBS Bank Ltd. on 17 December 2008. He is a member of the Board Risk Management Committee and Compensation and Management Development Committee.
Bart is a co-founder and Director of Alphadyne Asset Management. Alphadyne is an investment management firm with offices in Singapore, New York and a research office in London. Its investment team focuses on multiple alternative strategies, primarily in the area of fixed income.
Prior to forming Alphadyne, Bart spent 14 years in Asia with J.P. Morgan, most recently as Vice Chairman of Asia and head of Markets (Credit, Rates, and Equities) in Asia. He was a member of the Global Management Committee of the Investment Bank. He served on the Board of Directors of Sony Bank. Bart joined J.P. Morgan (New York) in 1989 and moved to Asia in 1991.
Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, Bart was Assistant Professor of Finance at Arizona State University. A citizen of the United States, Bart earned his MBA and PhD in Financial Economics from the University of Southern California.
Bart sits on the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Investment Committee.
